Orbit Inventory Management ("Orbit", "we", "us") helps businesses track vehicles and assets with QR codes and a permanent movement history. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple and we never sell your data.

Account details you provide (name, work email, company, phone), the inventory data you enter (assets, locations, movements, photos, and documents you upload), and basic usage and device information needed to operate and secure the service. If you submit a demo request, we collect the contact details on that form so our team can follow up.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the service, authenticate users, process billing, send transactional emails (such as demo confirmations and account notices), respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure. We do not use your inventory data for advertising, and we never sell it to third parties.

Data Isolation & Multi-Tenancy

Every company's data is logically isolated. Your team members only see your organization's assets, locations, and reports. Access is governed by role-based permissions (Super Admin, Company Admin, Manager, Employee, Read Only) that you control.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow least-privilege access controls, maintain continuous backups with point-in-time recovery, and use enterprise-grade infrastructure with automatic failover. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). Orbit does not store your full card number - that information is handled directly by the payment processor under their own security and compliance standards.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal, tax, or audit obligations. You can request a full export of your data at any time.

Your Choices & Rights

You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below and we'll respond promptly.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, payments, and analytics necessary to run the service. These providers process data only on our behalf and under agreements that require appropriate safeguards.
